Alumni Parking Procedures

 

Beginning in May 2009 Alumni/ae may purchase permits that allow them parking in the Visitor Lots on the KSU campus.

To Issue permits please follow these procedures:

  • First validate person is an active Alum by asking to see their  valid Alumni Association ID card.
  • If not valid refer them to the Office of Alumni Affairs
  • If valid proceed
    • Inform Alum that parking is $10 per month
    • Parking is permitted in all Visitor Lots
    • Have Alum fill out the Alumni/ae Parking form (Can be found here)
    • Alum pays at the Bursars Office
    • Alum brings paid receipt back to Card Services
    • Card Services notes permit number issued on the Alumni Parking Form
    • A hole will be punched in the month and year that the parking will expire. 
    • Issue permit explaining where to place the sticker and how it works
  • Permit should be place on the windshield, driver's side, lower left-hand corner
  • Permit may be purchased up to 6 months in advance
  • Lost permits are not to be replaced, but Alum may re-purchase another sticker
  • Alumni may only purchase permits for their personal use. Multiple purchases for the same month will not be honored
  • Active employees are not eligible for Alumni/ae parking
